Will was a great surfer and it was cool having him stay with me for a weekend in NYC. He communicated really well his arrival and was easy to host and considerate. We both have a common interest in a lifestyle so it was cool hearing about his experiences with couchsurfing, at resorts and lakes in Texas and going to Burning Man. He is a fan of scotch and craft beers and it was cool catching up out each night of his stay. Will kindly took me out for some great burgers, following which we had some great craft beers at a local bar. He is great to hang out with but was also self sufficient spending the days out in NYC. I hope to see him in Texas sometime!

Surfing with Ant was great! He was a great host and a really cool person to get to know. His place is well-situated on the Upper East Side, nearby Yorkville and Lenox Hill neighborhoods. We shared some good beers and burgers and talked about travel and Couchsurfing stories. Overall, a really hospitable guy that gets what Couchsuring is all about.
Come to Texas anytime, Ant. You've definitely got a place to stay!

Werrong nude beach with hail and rainbows!

It was an early January day and the past week had been unseasonally wet and cool in Sydney, however that morning the sun was out and while the forecast suggested a possible afternoon thunderstorm, my mate and I decided to risk it and get down to Werrong nude beach , which is about an hour south of Sydney in the Royal National Park. Leaving Sydney the sun was out bright with white clouds in the distance but going down the highway the clouds darkened and darkened until about 10 mins from the start of the bush walk to Werrong it started to pour and my car theometer said the temp had dropped from 29 to 21! By the time we had arrived the rain had stopped and the road was steaming from the downpour. The walk from the road includes the popular Bundena to Otford trial and also the trial to the instagram famous figure of 8 pools. Couchsurfing with Alexander - hosted Sydney Feb 2023

Alexander from Ukraine - https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/alexander-zhilin Alexander was a nice guest and was cool to host him for a few days when he first arrived in Australia, we had some beers, whiskey and chats about Australia and his time living in Ukraine, Thailand and Croatia. His cool to talk too, easy to get on with and was cool to give him his first experience as a couchsurfer rather than as a host! Alexander's reference Ant is a really nice host.
