I hosted Rouhai for a night in NYC after he had some job interviews, as you can see from his profile he loves to travel and it was cool hearing about his experiences traveling around the US and the Caribbean. He was easy to host and communicated well, he has a great attitude to couch surfing and felt like he really enjoyed meeting new people and experiencing different lifestyles. Ant is the first Australian host I have been with and he's very easy-going and nice gentleman who took me walk around the neighborhood in a windy night at NYC. haha, he's apt is very warm. I learned a lot about Australia by ask millions of questions. LOL~. It's very cool to find out his next family trip to Cuba and hope they will enjoy it a lot!

Werrong nude beach with hail and rainbows!

It was an early January day and the past week had been unseasonally wet and cool in Sydney, however that morning the sun was out and while the forecast suggested a possible afternoon thunderstorm, my mate and I decided to risk it and get down to Werrong nude beach , which is about an hour south of Sydney in the Royal National Park. Leaving Sydney the sun was out bright with white clouds in the distance but going down the highway the clouds darkened and darkened until about 10 mins from the start of the bush walk to Werrong it started to pour and my car theometer said the temp had dropped from 29 to 21! By the time we had arrived the rain had stopped and the road was steaming from the downpour. The walk from the road includes the popular Bundena to Otford trial and also the trial to the instagram famous figure of 8 pools. Alexander from Ukraine - https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/alexander-zhilin Alexander was a nice guest and was cool to host him for a few days when he first arrived in Australia, we had some beers, whiskey and chats about Australia and his time living in Ukraine, Thailand and Croatia. His cool to talk too, easy to get on with and was cool to give him his first experience as a couchsurfer rather than as a host! Alexander's reference Ant is a really nice host. He shared with me beer and a meal on the first day. The room is very clean. The location is good. I enjoyed very much staying with him!
